Build a rocket one day and launch it the next!
1.
Build a rocket – 10:00 AM Friday, August 20th
at the Colorado City
Recreation
Center
(next to the pool). Ages 5 to 16 are invited to come
and build a rocket. Qualified individuals will be
available to assist. The rocket kits will be supplied
as well as all necessary assembly tools. Cost is only
$2.00 and includes an engine for launching!
2.
Launch your rocket – 10:00 AM Saturday, August 21st
at Hudson Ranch. Bring your rocket (and an adult) to
the big S.C.O.R.E. (Southern Colorado Rocketeers,
www.scronline.net) launch facility west of Pueblo (we’ll provide easy directions) and
launch your rocket. Again there will be qualified
individuals to assist everyone.
